Boschendal Part 1

Elevate package

This farmhouse project was completed in two phases, the first phase used our ‘Elevate’ package and focused on the communal areas within the home. The design was inspired by a large tapestry that originally hung in the client's childhood home.  We moved it to the living room to create a focal point.


The fireside area, where the clients like to relax at the end of the day, was a focus for the project. We upholstered vintage armchairs in soft leather for comfort, paired them with bespoke footstools and added a rug, throws and side table to complete the cosy setting. 

In the living room, the tapestry became the centrepiece, with chartreuse swivel chairs for flexible seating and a secondhand coffee table stained black for a modern look. An outdoor rug, chosen for durability, completed the space.

A gallery space was was created to showcase the clients' art collection. This was professionally installed, with a custom woven grass runner and a vintage wavy bamboo bench as the focal point. The family bathroom was refreshed with hanging plants, a new rug, dispensers and storage.
