Reimagine package

The Airbnb apartment for this ‘Reimagine’ project is in one of Cape Town's iconic Art Deco buildings. We brightened up the kitchen and bedroom with light walls and added a sheer curtain to separate the space from the living area. Bevelled mirrors and Art Deco wall sconces added a nod to the history of the building.

In the dining area, we revived replica Cesca chairs with new upholstery, added a round tulip table and installed custom white blockout curtains. The space was completed with a swivel TV and a basket to hide the WIFI and emergency power source.

In the bathroom, we achieved a major transformation without the cost of a full renovation. We painted the walls, updated the faux-wood cabinet with black paint and reeded film, and replaced the old washbasin with a contemporary white one. A bespoke striped blind and a sleek black toilet seat added to the Art Deco feel, demonstrating that thoughtful changes can significantly enhance a space and its character.
